Yesterday afternoon in Miches, Wil received a call from his sister. She had received a call from a hospital or police officer in Santo Domingo stating that there father had been in an accident. Wil was unable to get in touch with his Mom, Dad, or Aunt. Wil thought that it was odd that they had called his sister and not him. He was in disbelief, thinking it was just a mistake. Unfortunately, in my gut, I knew it was not. Several hours later Wil found out that it was true. His father, Domingo, was in a serious motorcycle accident. I do not know all of the details. Domingo is in an Intensive Care Unit at a hospital here. There was talk of surgery last night, but that has been postponed. I believe there is brain trauma. We made it back to Santo Domingo today and Wil is at the hospital.
