It is exciting to be back in the land of snow, and oh is it ever snowy this year. My family had warned/prepared me for it, but it is still quite amazing. And there is less now than there was last week. Today, more of it is melting away :(
But, yesterday I went out and had some fun taking photos of the beautiful snow.
This is from our porch looking through the icicles (which I absolutely love) toward the
Mission Mountains. It really is quite a wonderful backdrop.
If that deck table had not been there, I wonder how far down that icicle would have reached!!

Here are our two little dogs, Coco and Lady/Queenie (I never know what her name is so I call her this; I'm not sure if she is Lady or Queenie due to some adoption issues). They might look a little cold to you, but they're fine. They are good mushers, after this photo they took me on a sleigh ride....just kidding!
Last shot--you can see the snow piles from the plow (and Alli's hard work shoveling!!).

WOW, reminds me of WI when I was a kid, we used to eat those ice cycles! I don't miss it all, it makes me cold just looking at it!!
