Hello all!
I'm leaving The States tomorrow. It is almost unbelievable! It was such a long build-up, and now it is here and really happening. I know that the next two and a half months are going to go by so quickly. I want to savor each moment.
It was funny because my mom thought it was today. First thing this morning, she asked me, "when do you have to be there?" I said, "where?" And she said, "the airport." I said, "umm, tomorrow?" So, she was excited that we had one more day.
I'm feeling much better about everything! I got the two classes posted online, I finished my report for the College, and I finished packing :) yay! Now, I'm copying some addresses over, wrapping a few Christmas presents to have ready while I'm gone, and visiting with the family.
The next time I blog, it will be from The Dominican Republic!!!

I forgot to mention that Wilman's mom is coming to his apartment on Friday to prepare food for me! And, I will probably meet her...hello nerves!

Oh you're meeting Wilman's mom - she's going to LOVE you! Like Jen said, everybody always loves you and I would add ESPECIALLY PARENTAL UNITS! Tell us how it goes. We'll want the scuttlebut! (butt?)

Hey all you Dominican and Me readers! Just wanted to rub in the fact that I got a call from Joelfre last night! He sounded so good! He made it there safe and sound and said the whole thing is kind of surreal right now. He can fill us all in on the details, but I wanted to post this here in case you were wondering if he made it there ok.
